"This cabin is very clean and the communication was excellent. This place would be fine for a weekend stay but we had an extended 3 week stay due to moving. It was a challenge with a tiny fridge, no stove or oven and a small kitchen sink. We were aware of this before booking it but our options were limited. It was bery convenient with our dogs and the neighborhood was great, I just dont feel like this is conducive for an extended stay. If we had to stay in Ketchikan again for a day or 2 we...

"A wonderful winter retreat. My daughter (10yo) and I stayed over Christmas. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. The house was clean and cozy. I appreciated the holiday touches light decoration and plate for Santa's cookies! The hosts were kind enough to keep the hot tub ready for us. "Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...

"We enjoyed our stay, property was just what we needed...a place to sleep, shower and minimal cooking for a few days. Bed is against the wall on one side and squeaked when you rolled over, but that was the only downside to our stay. Overall we would give it an excellent rating."
