"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. The apartment was spacious with a full kitchen. We cooked dinner and Ida had even left us a wee...

"Stayed with family for 3 nights. We loved this place. Ample parking spaces. Restaurant and grocery stores nearby. Breakfast lounge was stocked with cereal, milk, utensils etc. Only suggestion I'd give would be to replace the cutleries twice a day instead of once. Since people do bring takeaway food and eat in the lounge during the evenings, the cutleries get used up a lot and very few is left out for when we go for breakfast in the mornings. "Beautiful cottage with thoughtful and beautiful decor. Touches like a flashlight attached to the bed frame, heated floors, towel warmer. Lovely views of the sea, This place exceeded expectations, Bonus is that we stumbled upon Red Skye Restaurant right up the road and it was our best meal in Scotland."

"The bar, the breakfast and the room were all nostalgic, clean and comfortable. The meals we had there were delightful and homey. Not to mention how delightful the staff were! I definitely recommend, wish we could have stayed long and can't wait to visit again! "
