The room was nice however I would say the food is good but overpriced and the bar prices are extremely expensive for a rural bed-and-breakfast, almost 8 pounds for a pint of lager seems excessive. £14 for a full English breakfast with one egg, one rasher of bacon, and one sausage But overall, a nice location and a nice little hotel"

"It was used just for a stopover. Didn't arrive in the room until late. However I would recommend the following three issues are addressed. The matress on the single bed is so thin you can feel the frame beneath. The shower doors do not move freely and the bathroom door does not close."

"Everything was exactly as you wanted. The only reason that I reduced my review is because there was an unsightly mark on the sheet and I think people should pay more attention when they make the bed cause this was not very pleasant at all I was woken late that night by people talking outside my room. I don’t quite know why, and obviously nobody can do anything about that except the guests themselves by being more considerate. With luck it’s just an exception."

"Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. "

The bed was VERY comfortable. The room was much bigger than I expected. For the price I would stay here again.. Incredible value. The chap who booked me in.. Young lad.. very pleasant and polite. "The hotel is in a very good location with ample free parking. The room and bathroom were large and clean with fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. The staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The hotel is somewhat dated and does look like it could benefit from some renovations but i believe it is under new ownership and so hopefully this will be done. I would not hesitate to stay here again."
