"The outside of the hotel is beautiful especially at night, it gives holiday vibes it’s peaceful too. The room was 100% comfortable and the bed chefs kiss after a long day at a festival the bed put me to sleep like a baby. The gym was amazingly equipped. All in all I had an amazing experience and it was well worth the money. Thank you so much!!!!! No complaints"

"I stayed here 2 nights as I was booking night by night as my husband was in hospital nearby, The room had everything I needed, far more than I expected in a small country inn. Food was delicious and varied. Service was excellent and friendly."

"The good: located directly beside the train station for convenience, room was tidy, staff were friendly, breakfast was sufficient, although a tad expensive, but comparative to other hotels fair.
The poor: the AC did not work, the hotel room was 27C the whole time. When complaining to the staff, they shrugged and handed us a small fan. "The property is lovely and has a very traditional English feel which we appreciated, however the entire property lacks any ventilation/airflow - suffice to say there is also no air conditioning - which made the rooms simply insufferable during a heat wave. Recognizing that the climate has changed, management needs to provide at minimum a fan per room to enable some degree of ventilation and air movement during summer months if they expect guests to be able to sleep and enjoy the facilities."

It is a few miles out from the colleges/city centre but there is easy access to Madingley road park and ride and therefore Cambridge itself
Rooms are fairly basic but more than adequate for a short stay/long weekend and surroundings and communal rooms make up for any missing luxury in the bedroom.
