"We go to the Gold Bar area a few times a year, but this was our first time at this location. We happened to pick a very stormy weekend, but between showers it was great to watch a couple of river otters play on the bank of the river from the large windows in the living room"

"The cabin was great. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The cabin had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fireplace and the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was luxurious. The hot tub was on and ready to go when we arrived and seemed well taken care of. We will definitely be booking another stay. "

"Was a lovely well needed date night with my husband while my parents were visiting from the UK. Fantastic property with really high end features. I gave 4 for the online description as the stairs in the property are steep & very deep which was fine for us but may be tricky for some folk. Will definitely try & stay there again! "We had a wonderful stay! The owners have taken great care in providing a wonderful place to share with others. It looks like almost all the previous complaints have been fixed or handled. The driveway was long, but not that steep and without any recent rain we had no issues getting non 4x4 's vehicles down there. My only suggestion would be maybe invest in a water softening system for the whole house.The mineral smell while showering was noticable. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful...

"THIS IS INFORMATIONAL: A burner on the stove did not light. The quilt on the bed was lumpy. Some pillows need cleaning. The sink in the bathroom drained slowly.AND THIS IS IMPORTANT: When my wife was unloading the dishwasher, she raised her head and smacked hard against the overhanging cabinet. That cabinet should not be there. Someone could get badly hurt."

"There are not words to describe the view! It is majestic! The sound of the river with the mountains in the background is breathtaking! Hot tub was immaculate, as was the cabin. We will be back! Make sure you walk to Canyon Falls, it’s only about a 15-20 walk from the cabin! "

"The home was very clean and well maintained. The modern updates and furniture made it feel cozy and clean. The views from the home were stunning! We were there during a very rainy fall weekend and the fall colors and scenery were incredible. The Espresso Chalet is about a mile away and easy coffee run.The easy turn on fireplace was so nice to have and added ambience.Beds were super comfortable. Outstanding stay for my mom and I during a family wedding weekend."
