"We were very happy with the place. It rained 4 out of the 5 days but can only blame mother nature for that. There was no canoe which we had counted on so we could go fishing. We fished off the pier but was not the same. It advertised as having kayaks and a canoe. That was our only disappointment."

"This is a perfect little cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. My favorite part was sitting at the end of the dock in a lawn chair, sipping coffee and enjoying a pastry while taking in the peaceful views of the lake near the Yellow River. Will be back for another stay later on this year. "

"We had plenty of room(s) for relaxing, visiting, game time and cooking/ eating. We never went out to eat because of our offsite family event in downtown Eau Claire, which was only 20 minutes away. We would stay there again. "

"Great house for a family stay. Close proximity to all amenities. Ample outdoor space with fire pit and well stocked firewood. Easy boat rental. Good communicators. Only negative was lack of access to laundry in house (there is a laundromat nearby but not super convenient when on vacation). Overall a positive experience! "

"We had a fantastic stay. Paige and Robert are wonderful hosts! Lots of special treats for us. The home is darling, the view from the house and deck are incredible and the fire pit on the water was perfect!! Thank you!"

"Me and my boyfriend wanted a little get away and this resort was perfect it was so peaceful and clean! The cabin we stayed in was adorable. The owners were very kind and helpful. we will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! (Ps one of the owners has his own book that is sold in the gift shop would definitely recommend giving it a read!) "

"We stayed here over memorial weekend and we were the first renters for the house! The house was equipped with everything we needed and nicely decorated. We loved kayaking on the lake, bon fires at night, cards in the screened in porch, grilling on their new grill, star gazing and just enjoyed being away from a busy city with our two dogs. "As the title states staying at the cottage was exactly what our family needed. The owners were very nice and communicative the place was clean and quiet. We had grandparents, my wife and I and our child but there's enough room here for all of us to enjoy family time but also each have our own space when needed. In terms of fishing we mainly caught channel cats and sturgeon off the dock fishing off the bottom but we're lucky enough that each one was bigger than the last. It was far enough away...

"A group of friends and I gathered in this house to have a relaxing weekend getaway. The place was wonderful, beautiful old world charm with all the modern amenities. We reconnected over morning coffee on the deck in the treetops, relaxed in the hot tub, and had a late night chats around the fire pit. We had some good meals based on the host’s recommendations and had a great time wandering around town shopping at the antique mall and the boutiques.
