"Clean room, been partly modernised since my last visit but still somewhat dated and paintwork etc needs touching up. Smart TV in the room this time though it was very slow and while the apps worked, the main live channels didn't seem to. Not anything which really bothered me but may others. Breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic. Friendly staff throughout, speedy check in. A big improvement since my last visit, still a little way to go."

"What a lovely hotel. I stayed for one night in a single room whilst working in the area. My room was more than adequate with a rather large single more of a 3/4 double which was really comfortable, nice temperature. All of the staff that I came into contact with were just Absoloutley lovely people and could not help anymore. Breakfast was on another level, I opted for the full English, outstanding is all I can say. If I had to find fault it is that my shower wouldn’t maintain a constant temp...

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I booked it for its reasonable price but it far exceeded expectations. We were visiting family in chester over Christmas, and there were no hotels available in the city centre, although this was a little far out the drive was very easy and quick parking was good and the hotel was clean and friendly. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others."

"Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more. Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security...
