"The host, Chris, was so kind to pick me up from the bus station when I was unable to get a taxi, especially since it was raining. I had a problem with the TV as well as a leaking shower, but Chris fixed them both. The bed was clean and comfortable, as was the room. Great location, within easy walking distance to the centre of town, even in the rain! Breakfasts were so amazingly good, I tried a different menu each day and was never disappointed. "This hotel has an amazing garden and restaurant but the property itself is in need of some 'love'. Shower screen kept coming off the bath so bathroom flooded, lead flashing still hanging off over a year later. Clean apart from wear and tear. Such a shame because the location and the staff are good"

"Arrived at the hotel after a 4 hour journey, pub was closed. Called the number, member of staff said they’d come down and let us in but then called back 2 minutes later to say no room available. There was also no parking available despite the website saying it has parking available. Still haven’t heard anything about cancellation or refund. Do not recommend!"

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."

"Premiere Exeter was directly across the street from the train station. Room was quiet and clean, bed was comfy, staff was friendly. Quick (uphill) walk into town. Overall a good spot."
