Studio Sea: Affordable, Private Pool, 1 Block to Beach, Pets Welcome, Sleeps 10

  • Just a short walk to the beach, Studio Sea is a renovated, four-bedroom Florida beach cottage. A king bedroom and a twin bedroom are on the upper level. A large king bedroom and XL-twin over queen bunk bedroom, and bath are on the lower level with a separate entrance, making it perfect for two families or couples. These two floors are connected via an exterior staircase.

    Cool off in the pool, worship the sun from the third floor deck, or sit on the porch with family and friends. Let the morning greet you in the sunny living area, which includes an open concept kitchen, dining and living space.

    Recently a dining space was added on the third floor deck. Dine under the stars and by fairy light.

    Like much of St. George Island, Studio Sea is pet friendly.

    During the day take advantage of all available activities on St. George Island or shop in Apalachicola. "Dr. Beach" rates the beaches of St. George Island as one of the top five beaches in the United States. In the evening, have dinner at one of the many restaurants on the island and in Apalachicola, where you will find some of the best seafood in the United States.

    Bring your bike or rent one on the island. Studio Sea is right across the street from the island bike path. The cottage is just a short bike ride to shops, markets, restaurants and fresh seafood.

    Great fishing is available from the beach, the pier, or at the beautiful state park on the east end of the Island. A number of fishing charters are available in the area; ask about our favorite charter captain.

Superb Studio Sea

We loved everything about this house, host, and location! This is a perfect place to stay with two families and the location was ideal for walking back and forth to the beach! The host was amazing as he answered any questions we had promptly and was very helpful before, during and after our stay. We would stay here again and highly recommend!

We loved the relaxed vibe of this property. The pool and roof view were great fun. The location was perfect with a short walk to the beach and the bike trail right there.

Great Stay

Great location close to the beach. It was very warm, so the private pool was nice. Comfortable space and the owner was very responsive. We would recommend to others or stay there again if we vacation on SGI again.

Amazing!

Studio by the Sea was the perfect place for our family. This was our first time visiting St. George’s Island and we are now looking forward to many more trips in the future. Beach just a short walk away, our kids loved the pool, & star gazing on the top deck was fantastic! Thanks David for sharing your home!

Lovely vacation home

Great location on island considering it was not beach front. Easy and quick walk to public beach access. Beach was not crowded in that area either. Host was very responsive to questions.

Great location

Short (1) block walk to the beach! Was nice to have plenty of room on the beach without the crowds. Good local donuts & pizza. We typically go to Destin or Gulf Shores so it was nice to have a vacation without the traffic & crowds! Grandkids enjoyed the pool as well.

Perfect home for my dog and me!

This house was terrific one block across from public beach access with a boardwalk. Beds were comfy every thing was super clean. Enjoyed the pool and sundeck. Best of all got to bring my dog! Will be back

Always enjoy Studio Sea

This was our third year at Studio Sea and we have already booked for a fourth. The location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach yet off the busier main road. The private pool is perfect. The interior is spacious and the separate living areas with private entrances are perfect for a small family or couples desiring to stay at the same location but still have separate personal space. The decks offer wonderful views of the ocean. Kitchen and living area in the upstairs unit provide are spacious for family dinners and game nights!

Farmily get away

My family plus farm family needed a place to stay at our favorite beach/island! David was attentive and helpful. The house was a close walk to the beach with extra toys for the pool. We enjoyed our relaxing beach trip. Thank you David for letting us stay at your beach house!!

Perfect House/Perfect Host

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Studio Sea. We love it so much, we’ve already booked again for next year. The property is well kept, nicely furnished and clean. It’s a very short walk to the beach. The host, David Mann, is just a moments call away and is super responsive and goes out of his way to make us feel welcome.

Perfect location for an Island Getaway

Loved the cottage, pool, location and amenities of this home away from home. From the time we arrived the peaceful feel was amazing. Across the street one block is a boardwalk that is direct beach access. Great food and live music witnin a mile or so and the Island has so much to offer! Historical Apalachicola is 10 minutes away. Perfect! Thank you for sharing your beach home.

New Favorite Rental

Loved everything about the house and location. The separate living quarters gave the teenagers privacy and us some peace and quiet! LOL. Will definitely book again. The night time swimming with the cool pool lights were a big hit!

Cozy Beach Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Studio Sea very much. Nice little beach cottage that made us feel "at home" . We have no complaints. The owner is very easy to communicate with. The walk to the beach is easy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool! The only part we didn't like was that we had to check out 😥

Perfect!

Amazing host! Easy to communicate with and answers questions quickly. Was out of town and still had his family check in with us to make sure it was all ok! Super clean, lots of room and there were 10 of us! 5 min walk to the beach so very easy to get back and forth. Perfect week! Thank you!

Home away from Home

This is my 3 time renting this house. My family of 5 adults and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room without feeling crowded and very CLEAN. It's a perfect spot ONLY 1 BLOCK FROM THE BEACH!!! I will forever rent this house as long as I come to St. George Island. Thank you again. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!

Beautiful location

This was such a lovely and spacious beach residence. It is a short walk to the beach where the sand is so soft & white. Your 4-legged furry friends are welcome and ours absolutely loved her first experience with waves. The home is really nice and offers all the comforts of home as well as a private swimming pool. The neighborhood is quiet and everyone you pass on the road is friendly. We will be back!!!

Best location

This has been my family's 4th year coming to Saint George Island and to this house. It is absolutely perfect for a family of 5 and 2 dogs. The house is clean David is very responsive. Are Ac went out when we got there (one of the hottest days saint george has seen in a while) and David was right on it and got it fixed very quickly. One thing i love is that the house is 1 block from the beach. We will definitely be back again next year. Thank you again David for letting us rent your beach house for the week!!
