If you are after that authentic Florida vibe, our coastal cottage is for you. Nestled perfectly in the privacy of swaying scrub oak and pine trees, our property feels secluded, but is conveniently only a short walk to the beautiful beaches of St. George Island (ranked #1 beach in America). We are the first house located in the pristine gated community "The Plantation" on the West end of the island, allowing our guest access to the community pool, pickle-ball court, miles of scenic bike trails, and sought after access to the island's number one fishing spot "The Cut". We are also only 2 miles from the downtown shops and restaurants! We accept families and are pet friendly! The bedrooms in our two story home have comfortable king sized beds for sleeping in, each with their own bathroom. The couch is a sofa sleeper for any additional guests. Be sure to cool off in our outdoor shower after a long day at the beach. Our house is the perfect place rest and reprieve, and to create everlasting memories during your stay on St. George Island, Florida.

Great property with great communication

This was an excellent place for 2 couples and 4 dogs. The property was nicely secluded just within the plantation gate. Plenty of room to walk the pups. There was a little noise from the traffic going through the gate, however, you could not hear anything from inside. We did encounter some wild cacti in the yard, so be sure to have a flashlight at night. The property owner had some games, puzzles, etc that came in handy during downtime from the beach and during the brief pop-up storms that are common. There are ample cups, plates, bowls, cooking utensils, cookware, etc. We had great communication with the host throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon!

Great weekend stay. A little noisy from the gate but a cozy hideaway with an easy walk to the beach. The owner was very accommodating and communicated with us in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend beach house. this this

Not what I thought.

The photos online showed beautiful deck furniture that were not on the deck. There was one chair - nowhere else to sit. The kitchen was not clean, with food on the oven mitts and dirty drawers. We found traps in the laundry room closet. I would not return.

Solitary Paradise

The beach is a just a few steps away, and it is spectacular. We were there at the height of the season, and there were very few people on the beach, nobody remotely even close to us. Loved walking the dog on the beach. House is like a cozy cabin. Great stay!

Had a wonderful time.

Very nice property. We had a great time. Would definitely consider renting the property again. Great interior. Cabin-like feel with sunken LR and lots of windows. Samantha was great. Answered any questions we had promptly and provided us with great tips on places to go. The property is at the front of the Plantation, but still in a private setting and close to the beach. We've stayed at several properties on the Island and this is definitely now one of our favorites. We highly recommend, especially if you want something a little different from the standard beach home.

Home away from home

Such a homey place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and the house had everything needed for us and our children. Walked to the beach each day which was 2 min away. Will definitely stay again.
