Perfect Beach Getaway!We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful St. George Island beach house! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked — it had everything we needed and more, including an air fryer, blender, dishwasher, plenty of dishware and utensils, pots and pans, dish soap, and even an ice maker in the freezer (such a bonus!). There were lots of fresh towels, a shower tall enough for my 6’1” husband, a super comfortable bed, and a convenient stacked washer and dryer. The screened-in porch was a relaxing spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening breezes without worrying about bugs. Every detail was thoughtfully provided — truly everything one could need for a perfect, stress-free vacation. Plus an easy 2 block walk to the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

As an older couple, we were thrilled to find a place that didn’t have any stairs. This cottage was perfect for our stay on the island. The property is in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the beach. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened porch with our coffee each morning.

Delightful home! The house was very well appointed with everything we needed. There were several thoughtful touches provided by the owners throughout the house. We really enjoyed the screen porch and we were able to see hummingbirds in the late afternoon sipping nectar from the flowers in the yard. Great communication with the owners. We had a relaxing time.

Magnificent Beach Cottage

This is a perfect cottage on a quiet road that's two blocks from the beach. I'd rather stay here any day than in those new elevated houses with no charm or character on the two busy main roads. The yard and gardens around the house are lush, green and tropical with tons of shade. The porch is wonderful with the vaulted ceiling. If you're looking for a quiet private peaceful place with professional responsive hosts, you found it! Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

Great 4th of July Getaway

We had an amazing time. The hosts were super accommodating and helped with suggestions for the day it rained all day among other requests. The house is cozy, well supplied with anything you could need, and the screened in porch area is definitely a favorite during the mosquito times of day. It is like home away from home, only better because it's at the beach. We definitely will be back.

Wonderful place!

This property has great privacy and is really quiet. I would recommend renting the golf cart. It was perfect for running to the beach for sunset or going to get some ice cream. We wished we had planned to stay longer! We’ll be back!

Perfect little getaway

The house was exactly what we wanted it to be. We brought our elderly (15yo) border collie with mobility issues, and she was able to navigate the entire property with ease. We loved the secluded property with trees on all sides, and the proximity to the beach was great. We took advantage of the golf cart and used it for most of our movement around the island. It was a much better value than the rental places on the island! Inside the home, the decor was super cute. Loved the beachy accents all through the house. The kitchen had literally (as Sid said) everything but your food and drink for the week. The shower had amazing pressure and we loved the pebble floor. The bed was ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE. The icing on the cake was the screened porch. We ate dinner out there almost every night and spent every morning listening to the birds. The fans made it super pleasant. Great place to stay, great owner. Watch out for little tree frogs on the windows! They’re super cute! (We had one try to hitch a ride on our car home! lol.)

Fantastic getaway!

My adult son and I went down to kayak fish off the backside of Saint George Island. This was a perfectly clean and well maintained house in the heart of the island. Just what it showed online. The owners were fantastic and actually did some reconnaissance for our fishing trip. Will definitely come back. Thx

Great cottage for our stay in SGI with a great screened in porch perfect for breakfast and for relaxing after day trips.Close to beach access for evening walks or just to sit and relax.Great day trips to Apalachicola for shopping and eat at Half ShellDockside have a dessert banana pudding cheesecake one of the best desserts.At Port ST. Joe great restaurant Indian Pass Raw Bar very good Key Lime pie and crab legs.Lynn’s Quality Oysters, The Blue Parrot and BJ’s Pizza all very good!A trip not to miss Wakulla Springs State park and get tickets ahead of time for the pontoon boat ride to see gators! the lodge and surroundings are beautiful!The nature reserve in East Point beautiful boardwalks.We loved the beach at SGI state park.

A Charming Cottage

This was a quiet secluded cottage not too far from the beach, well appointed and maintained. We lived on the screen porch for the most part and it was a comfortable place to read and relax. We would certainly keep it in mind for a return visit.

Wonderful Trip and Home

We visited the island for my birthday and stayed here. This home is a wonderful and relaxing place to visit. It was fully furnished and stocked with anything you could possibly need on your trip. The home was very clean and the decor was beautiful. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning.

Perfect House for Life Long Best Friends

Tropical Affair is a perfect little cottage for myself and my best friend. The owners were super responsive when we encountered a slight problem with the lock on the door. The walk to the beach was easy. Very comfortable for a restful week! The two of us will be back when we can sneak away again!

Cozy beachy get-away

This charming beach cottage has a lot to offer from the well-equipped kitchen, attractive decor, easy beach access to the secluded and quiet privacy of its location. There is also a pleasant screened porch for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors without the bugs!Two of the best features are the wonderful owners, who live nearby and respond quickly to any concerns or questions, (not that we had any!). We would stay here again. Thank you Sidney and Joyce for helping to make our stay enjoyable and stress free.

Winter stay

Have stayed at this adorable cottage several times now and continue to go back. Hosts are extremely responsive and attentive to your needs as a guest. Weather was "freezing" but fishing was great! Internet on the island leaves a lot to be desired so, if you're looking to work while here, keep this in mind. Network kept dropping and was out continuously for about 14 hours.

Nice little place on the island

This is a very nice place on SGI. It has a nice, secluded feeling to it in a quiet area. The house has been nicely decorated with a really nice and spacious screened in porch area. It is only a couple of blocks from the beach with a direct shot to beach access parking. I will definitely look to book this property again.
