Welcome to the Sun Catcher of Vilano Beach! Fit 8 people in this spacious 3BR/3.5BA home located just 5-min walk to the white sands of Vilano Beach. Relax around the sparkling clean pool located in our private, fully-fenced backyard. Jump into our game room located in the 2nd building on the property loaded with a pool table, ping pong, darts, and all the classics. 5-min walk to the best restaurants in the area, Caps on the Water. Only 12-min drive to Historic Downtown St. Augustine.
THE SPACE

The Sun Catcher encompasses the true Florida beach lifestyle, as this beach retreat is equipped with all of the beach supplies that you will need for proper beach days including beach cart, umbrella, beach chairs, and boogie boards ready to go for our guests! Convenience and high-end comfort for our guests are the focus at The Sun Catcher. Not just your place to sleep at night - We are your hub to an authentic Florida Experience.
**We are dog-friendly - We allow two dogs maximum on the property at all times - PET FEE is $148 for your whole stay**

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire condo.
Check-in details will be available the morning of check-in.
Guests will access the property with the front door smart lock.
NEIGHBORHOOD REVIEW
Located in Vilano Beach, the community is quiet, easy-going, and an ideal getaway for those who want to explore St. Augustine. 5-min walk to the beach access right at the end of the road. 5-min walk to one of St. Augustine’s top restaurant, Caps on the Water located right on the intracoastal.
This community and our property is full of live oak tree coverage, which makes for great shade during those Summer Days after the beach.
Walk to the beach in 5-minutes. Our grocery store is only a 5-min drive from the home. Enjoy being only a 12-min drive to the Historic Downtown St. Augustine.

The location of this property is good, just a short 2 block walk to the beach, with easy access. The location is quiet, which is always appreciated.There are some general maintenance items that would improve the location. For example, wall damage in a few areas. Also the game room had a musty smell, so we did not end up using this space.Kitchens very important to me. This kitchen was stocked with the basics, but nothing beyond that.

Great stay!

This house was the perfect fit for my family. Close access to the beach and river. Restaurants near by, quiet friendly neighborhood host was very responsive and great with communication. We will definitely be booking here again!

Rundown

Good layout of house. However, overgrown landscaping, needs a deep cleaning, spraying for bugs, better linens and towels, furniture needs cleaning, mattresses need covers and upgraded, electrical needs upgraded. The pictures on listing are very outdated or were modified to look perfect.

Beautiful but not what the pictures show

Beautiful. Short walk to the beach access. Pool small dirty and cold. Broken door to the dirty screened porch. Neighbors are disrespectful to renters. And absolutely no noice at all aloud at all all day!

Excellent location but not the most comfortable

The house had all the amenities and was in an excellent location. However, the pool was super dirty and wasn’t cleaned until the 2nd to last day before we left (1 week stay)…. The beds were comfortable but all the couches/chairs were absolutely atrocious, and because of bad weather we spent a lot of time at the house. The sitting area definitely needs some better seating options because they destroyed everyone’s back.

Perfect for Your Family

Kids can get rammy on vacation, but not in this place. The game shack was a life saver! Lots of laughter and competitive play, televisions in three rooms, great memories, and away from the crowded holiday sidewalks of St Augustine. Even the dog had a good time in the safely enclosed back yard. Thanks so much for this great experience!

Nice stay but a few issues

We enjoyed our stay and the interior of the home was clean. There were plenty of amenities provided from towels to toilet paper. The game room area is a nice addition, especially for kids. The pictures of the pool area do not reflect the actual surroundings. There is potential there but the cage was covered with leaves and although the pool water looked clear, the concrete in the pool was not inviting. The hand railing inside needs to be replaced or repainted, once again not reflected in the pictures. They also need to correct the hot water tank timer. Two times my husband had to restart the hot water tank because it was shut off and we had no hot water. Management was very nice and apologetic for this issue however it needs to be corrected.

Short walk to the beach

Location is great, close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room and the pool was perfect after a long day in the sun. The beds were a little too firm for my liking but everything else was spot on.
