The hotel didn't have an elevator or a lift for disabled persons like myself who just has undergone a total knee replacemet on my left knee. The rooms were on the 2nd floor and the stairs going to the 2nd floor was a winding staircase which was not safe.
I couldn't even hold on to the hand rail that was too close to the wall. My hand couldn't go through. I would like to file a complaint to BC Health & Safety to have their winding stairs inestigated as this is a health hazard for the guest. The guest can't hold on both sides of the stair railing. They should also have warning in their ads that their rooms are only accessible by the stairs and yet their stairs are not safe. You should look into these health and safety matters as these are serious matters specially if there are fires or earthquakes .
The frontdesk wasn't also manned . When one guest forgot her key there was no one in the front desk or in the office to help. She had to ask for help from us to call a hotel personnel.
