"Shady Pines is fantastic little property. The house is extremely well kept up, like it was brand new. The cleanliness was exceptional, not a spec of dirt or dust. The A/C easily kept the house cool, quick hot water and the shower's water pressure was good. The owner was quick to respond and even made sure the porchlights were on when he found out we would be arriving well after dark."

"Amazing house with lots of fun toys! Very clean, comfortable bedding. I loved the extra touches like a pet bed and treats for the dogs. Although we were only there for one night, it was a great respite from travel with everything you need close by. We’ll be back when we can stay longer and enjoy everything the community and house has to offer!"

"Overall pleased with the property. Good alternative to Statesboro hotels when you need more than one guest room. One item to be aware of is that residents within the property do not keep the atrium door locked (I locked it on multiple occasions to return to the door unlocked) - we did not have any issues but just know that the front door may be your only line of security."

"The doors to enter the unit, bathrooms and bedroom doors would not open or close properly. The door that gets you into the unit has been stripped of wood in some places, which didn't make us feel safe. The hot water on the main floor didn't work.. The place is in a central location and has been updated; however, the essentials of door closures, hot water, was very disappointing."
