"Fantastic place to visit Amalfi coast. Away from the tourists Cava de' Tirreni is a real Italian town. The hotel is an old palace, our room was superb with all amenities and our host Dario went out of his way to help. One warning, a car can be expensive to park. But the train connections are very good."

"Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car. I loved the location as it was a fairly easy walk to the restaurants and beach area, and the staff was fantastic. If I could give them more stars I would. " We had a fantastic stay at La Maison du Paradis. Pasquale and his wife were excellent hosts. Pasquale met us at the apartment even though we were late and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. He checked in on us several times, gave us info about the buses and ferries, dining recommendations, maps, etc. He even arranged a cab back to the train station for us.
