"Amazing stay at Cameron House. We were given a room upgrade to a suite on arrival and had wonderful views over the loch. Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. "

The room was spacious and clean with minimal noise interruptions. Staff were friendly, but should brush up on their skills when communicating with neurodivergent guests."

"Where do we begin? We arrived at the hotel, and the staff was courteous and very accommodating. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was exquisite, the room was clean and immaculately appointed, and our night’s sleep was peaceful. The Sherbrooke is a hidden gem, and we will tell anyone who visits Glasgow to stay there! Thank you all for such a marvelous stay. "

"A few issues with the room number 006, they have multiple pads on the wall and near the beds for switching off lights etc maybe could have been doing with an explanation of some of the functions, 1 of the lights wouldn't switch off and had to get a staff member to come and see it, the solution was to switch all lights off at the fuse box in the room and switch it back on in the morning, 1 of the lights in the bathroom was flickering and the shower has 3 settings bath, overhead and a shower pole...

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and at £85 for the room, it is frankly unbelievable how poor the overall standard was.
From the moment I arrived, the tone was set by an incredibly rigid and unfriendly approach. I asked about check-out time and was told it is strictly 11:00 AM, and even being 5 minutes late would result in a £20 charge. No flexibility, no understanding — just a transactional, almost punitive attitude towards guests.
