Welcome to paradise! Enjoy breathtaking scenery from this iconic Snowmass home. As you step through the door you will be rewarded with unparalleled views of Snowmass and the entire Aspen valley. The house was designed with exposed wood beams, gorgeous stone work and multiple windows to create a space that is warm and serene. You will be minutes away from Snowmass and enjoy easy access to all four legendary Aspen mountains. Fabulous biking and hiking on the Rim trail bordering the property.


You will be staying in a design oriented home with open floor plan and modern decor. You will literally experience the best views in all of Snowmass! Tons of natural light. You are a five minute drive from the mountain with a complimentary parking permit provided for carefree access to the slopes. In the summer you can explore the Rim trail by foot or bike. It is located just steps behind the home.


Main level: Floor to ceiling windows and massive exposed beam ceilings. Beautiful stone fireplace stocked with firewood. Dining table seats 8 with comfortable leather chairs.

Kitchen: Chef's kitchen and and cozy breakfast nook. Viking range, Bosch dishwasher, Wusthof knives. You will feel comfortable making meals here if you choose to.

Coffee station: We take coffee seriously in this home!
You can easily pull shots with the Breville Espresso machine plus grinder and steam wand. We also provide fantastic drip coffee with a Technivorm Moccamaster.

Master bedroom and bathroom: located on main level.
Flat screen LG TV. Private balcony for star gazing.

Lower level: Den with 65 inch Samsung TV, couch with pullout sleeper framed by large window with views of mountain. 2nd bedroom has king bed plus and wall mounted LG TV. 3rd bedroom has full sized bunk beds and built in desk. Second full bathroom on lower level plus laundry room. Samsung front loader washer and dryer.

Hot tub: on lower terrace. You can soak in the private tub while soak up views that are to die for.

Beds: Comfortable mattresses with Brooklinen bedding and sheets throughout.

Sonos Sound System with built in speakers in kitchen, main room and den.

SNOWMASS TAXES: Please note there is a separate 5.9% lodging tax from the Town of Snowmass Village which will be collected at the time of booking.

ACTIVITIES: Endless rewarding experiences are available to you in Aspen/Snowmass.

- Skiing and Boarding: Snowmass, Buttermilk, Highlands and Aspen mountains all just minutes away. See driving times below.
- Biking: Countless bike trails throughout Snowmass including Rim trail behind our home. See: Snowmass bike trails online.
-Hiking: Climb a 14er. There are multiple 14K foot mountains surrounding Aspen/Snowmass. Guides are available: see aspen expeditions online.

-Shopping: Downtown Aspen is filled with both independent shops and high end designer boutiques.
- Art: Aspen Art Museum hosts award winning art installations on a regular basis.
-Music: Wheeler Opera House and Belly Up Aspen are two amazing music and performance venues where you can catch famous artists of all types. Additionally, the Aspen Music Festival from June to August is regarded as one of the top classical musical festivals in the country.
-Academics: Aspen Ideas Festival in June. Numerous famous speakers delivering inspiring talks.


FOOD:

-Clark's Market is a 3 minute drive from the home. It is an excellent small grocery store stocked with gourmet items.
-Snowmass and Aspen are both blessed with excellent restaurants. Depending on the season you are visiting you might need to make reservations weeks in advance especially for Aspen. Some of our favorites include: The Crepe Shack in Snowmass village (perfect for a meal before or after you hit the slopes) and White House Tavern (amazing burgers and fries), Las Montanas (excellent Fajitas) and Masuhitsa (incredible Sushi) in Aspen.


PARKING:

- House parking: Room for three vehicles. One can fit in carport.
-Snowmass Parking: You may park at Carriage Way Lots # 1-4 and 8-13. Permit is required during ski season for hours of 8am-1pm. No permit needed after ski season or after 1 pm during ski season. From the Carriage Way numbered lots, the slopes are a 2 minute walk. Lot 6 permits timed parking for 60 min if need to go to the Snowmass Mall.
-We will provide you with a parking permit for one vehicle. You will need to provide a photo of the vehicle's registration or license plate prior to or upon arrival.
-Children drop off for ski school: you can temporarily park at the Tree House Parking lot while dropping off your kids. Location is just below the Carriage Way lots.


TRANSPORTATION:

- Personal Car: Our home is centrally located with easy access to most locations. Snowmass mountain is 5 min drive. Buttermilk is 12 min drive. Highlands and the town of Aspen are each 20 min drive.

- DIAL-A-RIDE DIRECT SERVICE - limit of 6 people. For access to Base Village, Snowmass Mall, or Clark’s Market. Phone number will be provided.

-Free Village Shuttle: Bus stop is 12 min walk down Sinclair Rd to corner of Sinclair and Meadow Rd. Route times fluctuate by season and info can be found at the Snowmass transit site online. You can also call them.

Beautiful property that needs attention

This is a beautiful home with magnificent views and a perfect location for enjoying the area.The kitchen is fabulously equipped and the laundry facilities are excellent. However, the property does not have air conditioning.Although the lower level remains cool and comfortable, the shaded outdoor area has a resident bat with the associated droppings.The upper level and master become extremely hot during the day. In fact, when we arrived, both were well into the mid 80’s.The property manager, Scott, finally got out a fan. He brought us two more the following evening. However, be advised that when you return in the late afternoon it is to a very warm house which will then take the entire evening to cool down enough to sleep. We used the hot tub twice and both times it switched off within ten minutes and the circuit breakers could not be turned back on. Scott said this happens sporadically so was aware of the issue. The living room has only overhead lighting; all the floor lamps are broken. By the third day of our stay we gave up complaining about these issues as we wanted to get out and enjoy our vacation. After checkout, we never heard from the owner about promised compensation but found that they filed a claim for hot tub repairs. We travel extensively and this is the most detailed review I have written to date wishing to spare future guests our disappointment. This is a lovely property but it needs some attention to detail to command the rental rate and receive five stars.
