Smiths Lake
For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfers dream). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

Dogs and Water

This was a near perfect place for 4 adults and 4 pups. The yard is not a fenced one so the dogs had to be with us all the time but we like it like that anyway.

Lovely spot

I don't like to be negative but only basics were clean. Floors, bathroom benchtops. Windows filthy, cobwebs every where. Glasses dirty, dirty in gaps of lounges. Behind door not cleaned hair etc.. Sorry but pay big money for clean place on holidays..

Great place to unwind and relax

Great experience from start to finish. Beds were a little firmer than I’m used to, but overall you can’t beat the location and the property had all the necessities. Will definitely be looking to book it again.

A local surprise

This is a very good property in a breathtaking location. Right across the road from the local cafe and the beautiful lake. It is busy at peak time’s but the natural beauty of the location compensates. The property is perfect for large family groups. Our only concerns were the poor clean that had been done before our arrival and the complete lack of basics - no cling rap, cooking oil, foil. The property managers did respond well to the feedback and hopefully it will improve for the next set of visitors. This is a minor issue and we would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful destination! Views were amazing

Great place to rent. Plenty of room with comfy beds. Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. Place is clean with all necessary pots/pans/utensils etc. Nice big bbq on the balcony to cook on and table on the balcony is great too! Take in the views while eating and cooking. Only thing I would suggest is taking insect spray. There were a few spiders and plenty of webs. Which you would expect but even cobwebs hadn’t been dusted away! Overall I highly recommend the place.

Beautiful Spot

House was very clean. The view was so beautiful and loved having the frothy coffee cafe straight across the road. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our family weekend away at this property.
