"We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. "

"The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. "

"My son and I were in town for a fishing tournament on Kerr Lake. The property was perfect for us. It is definitely off the beaten path, but we loved it. Couldn't use the dock because the water was too high in the lake, but we loved it. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The house accommodated 3 generations of our family. The basement was perfect for the teenagers and kids. They enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. We brought our boat and enjoyed so much time on the water, as well as floating, swimming and fishing from the dock. The communication from the owner was excellent and we highly recommend this vacation rental. "

"The house was amazing! We loved being able to go down to a boat ramp 8 minutes away and bring our boat back to the dock of the house. I cannot brag on this stay enough. The only thing we would ever suggest adding is tie-ons for boats at the dock. We tied off to the surrounding trees. "

"This property is outstanding and Andrea is am amazing host! Communication with her during our stay was excellent, the house is just as pictured and more and the dock/beach area is awesome! Be sure to bring your S'mores sticks and if you have any other needs while there, Buchanan's General Store just up the road is an amazing place to go for everything - even delicious ice cream!! "Everything was perfect about this property! From check in to check out everything was great. Communication with property owner was perfect. The property itself was everything we could have asked for. Great location from boat ramp and perfect dock for tying up our boat. There was ample room for our toddler to run when we weren't in the water. The walk from the house to lake was short and was a visible safe path. The tractor with a trailer to help get stuff to the lake was the perfect addition....

"This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful location. The 1st was my husband and I in the winter and it was a perfect cozy weekend. Our 2nd trip was with family and friends for the Lakefest , which the wonderful hosts had informed of us. Everyone had an amazing time with so many lake activities to enjoy!!! "The house decor is an eclectic mix of vintage meets modern and rustic. Great spacious living room/kitchen open floorplan with a separate dining room which worked great for our group of 10! "That’s right every morning coffee/tea on front porch. Very peaceful , the traffic was sporadic which was NOT an issue. Short drive to Kerr Lake and shorter drive to Dollar General. There’s a nee Mexican restaurant that was very good and service was fast . It opened July 2025 and our party of ten had no complaints. "We loved staying at Stillwater’s! It had everything we needed and more! We made a nice campfire one night and the kids made s’mores. Easy access to the dock down a nice path. The water was high when we first got there but gradually came down as the week went on. The hot tub is an added bonus! Our host, Ada, was very quick to answer any questions we had and I enjoyed chatting with her. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to any family groups for a great lake vacation!"
