"We rented this property for a family reunion and birthday and it was perfect! The location is amazing - Right across the street from Floating Mill Park which has a family friendly swim area and down the street from several watercraft rental places (Hurricane Marina, JBeez rentals). Our hosts were incredibly communicative prior to the day and on the day of check in. The view from the property is amazing and the actual place is somehow even better than the pictures. "Our third year staying at this property and we had another wonderful stay. Communication is wonderful, the home itself is always clean and has everything you could need for relaxing and enjoying the lake. We especially enjoyed the addition of new porch swings this year! We hope to return again next year to enjoy this wonderful home. "

"We enjoyed the layout of the cabin, and the proximity to the outdoor activities and State Parks surrounding the area. The maintenance team was prompt and courteous in repairing the TV's, dryer and front door lock when needed. Overall it was an excellent choice for our family of 15. Cheers"

"This is the most adorable little place! It was clean, airy, and very convenient to the local hiking and sightseeing areas. The gate on the driveway limits access, giving a feeling of safety above and beyond the usual. Will definitely be staying again!"

"We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

"Clean nice private area to relax enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area location is close to Cookeville and surrounding falls areas only improvements would be an upstairs restroom had to leave couple days earlier than planned but enjoyed the stay"

"After having problems getting into the cabin our stay went very well. The drive getting to the cabin was a little rough but we took it slow and had no problems. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the deck listening to the birds. The cabin is secluded and is so quiet and peaceful. We’d love to come back sometime. "

"First we want to say the property location, cleanliness, comfort and amenities were all first class. The view from the patio is beautiful. The location in proximity to the surrounding waterfalls and - parks is perfect.Now I want to speak about the owners Curt & JoAnn, they are great people and now I will forever call them friend. I had a medical issue while there and I don’t know what my wife would have done without their loving assistance. Great people and place. We will be back"
