"Went from a family room to a very pokey small room due to an error with the respective bookings. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your bags up 3 flights of stairs. Given we had large bags, this wasn’t ideal. Lovely staff, particularly in the restaurant. Location was okay. The restaurant is very busy, particularly on Sunday. "

"It was a large well presented building. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had 2 suites which were very spacious and comfortable. It was quiet. "This is a wonderful B&B. No complaints about it whatsoever. I do feel that anyone considering booking here needs to know the location is near the top of a hill. We walked from the train station...wow, quite the cardio workout! There are many steps from the driveway to the house. Just be aware."

"I spent a lovely night at the White Horse, a very unique and historical coaching inn. The room was gorgeous with a massive comfy bed, a lovely sofa and a big clawfoot bath with a shower. It was clean and the lovely bathrobes were bliss. Great quality tea and coffee options in the room were a nice touch too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The village is quaint with a great history. "The only compliant I had was I payed for a late checkout & and housekeeping, kept on knocking on the door for me to leave the room after I paid for an extra 2 hour check out.
