"We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The photos are accurate. The hot tub was wonderful. Kitchen utensils were well stocked, but could have used more plates, wine glasses, etc. We ate 2 meals in and had to wash dishes after each meal. Unit could also used more hooks -either in hallway or bathrooms for wet towels (from both bath and hot tub) Basement closet was unusable. No rod or hangers. We loved looking out over the lake and used the deck as weather permitted. It's a nice spot to relax...

"Lovely, spacious home in a peaceful location, yet close to everything in Shipshewana. Well- equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and very nice bathroom with plenty of towels. The living room was equally comfortable, furnished with recliners and easy chairs. This was especially important because the weather kept us indoors. Ken and Sarah are thoughtful hosts who have created a welcoming space for their guests. "

"Amazing new property that keeps large groups in mind. Beds were plentiful and comfortable. We enjoyed that we could all sit together to eat. We had 16 in our group. We liked the 2 level lighting and the Sonos sound system. We were right on the lake and rented a pontoon that we were able to dock right at the house. There were also kayaks. We are looking to come back next year! Would 100% recommend. "

"I spent every summer of my childhood in Oakwood, so I know the cottage well. It used to belong to Rev. Ross Cook. My grandparents were George and Marie Cook (no relation to Rev. Cook) and they built the cottage at 1019 S Lake Dr. They worked at the old hotel every summer for decades. My dad also worked there during his teen years and so did I. I loved the view of the park. "We were able to enjoy a few days in a serene environment. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and our hosts were friendly and responsive. The hosts were actually one of the highlights of the stay! "

"My family and I had a fun, relaxing stay at Sunset Peak! Check-in was smooth and easy, and Krista provided excellent communication with us when we reached out to her at the beginning of our stay. "We certainly enjoyed our time relaxing at the cabin by the pines! A private and quaint little cabin that had everything we needed, including the tranquility of being surrounded by nature. From the deck, we got to watch the horses in the pasture in front of us while we watched the sunset. There was even the soothing sounds of a distant train nearby here and there.
