"We stayed for our recent trip to visit the Mississippi Headwaters. Located across the street from the entrance road. Headwaters are about a 5 minute drive.The room is as advertised. Everything looks freshly remodeled. The beds are comfy and everything is very clean. It is very quiet and the TV channel selection is exceptional."

"We had a great time. Everything you would expect from a Minnesota Cabin. The lake was nice and caught several nice fish...we put them back so they're still in there. Dog loved it. Too hot for the hot tub but looked well kept and perfect for cooler weather. We'd go back again. Friendly neighbors/people passing by on the lake. There was one restaurant about 15 minutes away. Brought a George Foreman and that worked out nice for cooking. There was a grill but never used it/looked at it....

"The cabin was wonderful! communication with manager was good. It looked very recently remodeled with most items brand new. The game room was so fun. It was cold so we did not use the boat. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area."

"My family and I had a wonderful week long stay, the house was spacious, clean and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, paddle boarding and floating on Lake Pickerel, along with great bonfires and making s’mores in the evening with a beautiful view of the lake. Being able to use all the paddle boards and Kayaks was amazing and so fun!! We rented their pontoon and had many hours of enjoyment fishing from it as well as swimming in the middle of the lake. "We just wrapped-up our week long family vacation at Jewel Lodge on Mantrap Lake. This home is a true jewel, as it addressed everything our large group needed for a fantastic week. The home is beautiful, extremely well equipped and easily accommodated a group of 18 people (8 kids under 11). John and Wendy are great hosts and were quick to answer any questions and assist with any needs the group had. Everyone had a great time and are already looking forward to next year's stay!"

"We absolutely loved staying at the Stone Cabin! The check in and communication with the host was wonderful, as were the accommodations. The entire home was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable with quality linens. The kitchen had ample cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. which was greatly appreciated.
