"You should provide free parking for guests. The supposed free outdoor parking was a crummy gravel lot that was far away. Absolutely nothing in the kitchen for cooking, we had to ask for dishes. They said they didn't provide toasters until I told them it was in the Expedia listing, then they did find one. Nice hotel but basic customer service."

"The hotel itself is fine, it's in a convenient location, but also a very busy shopping area and it overlooks Costco. The rooms and amenities were all good. It was clean, the bed comfy, the hot tub and pool were nice. The restaurant experience was less than ideal. They clearly didn't have enough staff. It took our party of 7, 3.5 hours to get our drinks and food. Thankfully we didn't need to be anywhere or we would have had to leave. I don't think I would stay here again but it served it's...

"Location is absolutely beautiful, although a little isolated. Staff was amazing, our only complaint was the cleanliness of our suite. There was a ton of hair on the couch, and across the floor. The tub and bathroom floor were also not very clean. "

"Great view from room. You can see ferries going in a distance as well as the Malahat to Victoria. On clear days you can see Vancouver and the Washington coast. Seen deer eating on the property. Very clean and quiet."

"This was an okay place to stay. Not fantastic, not terrible. Travellers should be aware that there are no elevators, no a/c, and limited electrical outlets in the suite to plug in your devices for charging. The suite we had was in the cottage next to the main building, and although it was very roomy and comfortable, it is old and worn in some places, and I found it very warm in the suite, The windows open for cooling, but there are no screens, so take your chances. "Lovely hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. Cleaning staff were underwhelming. Glasses in the room had lip prints on them, I stayed for 9 days and only once did they make the bed. They basically exchanged towels with me at the door of my room. I cleaned my own room during my stay."

"Dashwood Manor is clean and quiet. It's in an ideal location between the beach and Seaside and the lively Cook Street village. Walking trails are easily accessible to incredible views. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff was welcoming. I wish my stay was longer. "
