"Very nice accommodations with nice surroundings by the river. It was so quiet at night and no nearby road traffic to bother either. We enjoyed visiting Timm's Hill and Big Falls County Parks, which were recommendations from our host. "

"It was everything as described and more. Quiet cabin in the woods with all the amenities. Ice Age Trails nearby were great hiking experiences. Stars were brilliant. Nice to have wood on-site for evening fires."

"Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. There were so many games/activities for all ages. We had plenty to...

"Fabulous property! Extremely well stocked from the bedrooms, to the kitchen, and outdoor space! Our group had a blast from being outside and using the paddle boards and canoe, to being around the kitchen island talking and eating! Would absolutely stay here again! Jodi was a great host!"

"Cute cottage that has a lovely location on the river. Surprising amount of space including a comfortable living room and dining room. Host has done a nice job. As others have noted it is very close to a relatively busy road but a white noise machine will help. Short drive to Cornell and hiking /biking trails."

"Me and my husband were looking for a nice quiet place away and we learned that's exactly what we got! Very little traffic on the road, you felt like you were the only ones around. I would definitely go back but when we arrived there was a for sale sign. It's a wonderful place to stay. And I hope we can go back next year!"

"This is a great place. We had 3 families staying here w kids for our local "Friends and Family gathering" at the Catawba park. Downstairs has beds for those that need quiet space and there is a great deck where we saw a bunch of humming birds as well as turkeys and deer. Beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, and lots of places for people to hang out and play cards in the evening."

"Nice small cabin on water, Great location, can access ATV trails and a couple close restaurants/bars.. Great communication with host and she made sure we had what we needed and that we understood what we needed to do."

"Amazing host and stay at this nice cabin. Good for getting away and enjoying the outdoors. Or to enjoy the many other activities near the Eau Clair. Millers boat launch and dam was also a nice spot to check out. "

"The pictures and description of the property are exactly what you get. Place was comfortable, the loft with extra bed was cozy with a pretty view. Jonathan was very easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. Loved the speaker system which was set to a great country station that was on so all we had to do is turn the little knobs around the house. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Stayed with my parents, siblings and their families. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Kitchen was stocked with very nice pots, pans, and food storage. Having two fridges was great! The lofted space with the bonus room with beds was awesome for the kids to have their own hangout space. Access to the water was perfect and so close the beach and park worked out so well! We would definitely book again!!"

"We stayed at this lovely home for three nights for a family event nearby. The house is as described and has everything you need for a quiet stay in the woods. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck in the mornings and lounging on the big comfy couch at night. We also enjoyed being right on the water but know that it is quite a few steps down to the dock."
