"This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

While it wasn't right in the middle of everything, it was only about a 10–15 minute drive to plenty of restaurants and food options, which was very convenient."

It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"I chose the Solano Inn for my wedding weekend as it was close to our venue and had the room to accommodate ourselves and small number of family members attending. One word comes to mind...meh. It was just ok. The rooms looked fairly clean at first glance, but don't look too close! Don't look behind furniture or at the baseboards and certainly don't look under the bed! We found a condom wrapper under our bed along with a TV remote, hair on the baseboards and light plugs and my brother found...

"The only good thing about this hotel is that it's close to the airport. We usually book suites as we're a family of 6... and this felt one looked like people live there. Felt like lots of longterm residents. The one guy that helped at check in was great... but he was the only one (white guy with diamond earrings). The rooms were DISGUSTING! We had to use sheets on the sofa and chair bc they were so dirty and had questionable stains. I called to ask for more sheets and was greeted by a rude lady...
