"A wonderful stay in a very beautiful place. We loved it and would love to come back again. Easy check in, great kitchen and close to skiing, ice skating, great golf and the restaurant was delicious. Very warm and cosy "

"A lovely little cottage. Clean, cosy with a few little luxuries. Only issues were - it is advertised as sleeps 5 on book a bach but only has bedding for 4, however the owner happily sorted an airbed. Toilet paper and dishwashing liquid were in short supply, so we bought our own. However, we would still recommend and stay again."

"Perfect weekend in Castle Hill village, modern house with beautiful view, just sit in the couche and watch the sunlight on the mountains"

"Beautifully located next to Mt Richardson DOC area with lots of forest walks at your doorstep. The property is huge and great for adventures for little kids (away from screens). The house is warm and beautifully recently decorated. Comfortable beds and nice bedding. There is no internet available and therefore no smart TV access (not necessarily a bad thing but notable). Would love to stay again in the summer months. "

"Very comfortable & well equipped, would’ve stayed longer if we’d known. But it was difficult to find! Google maps just took us to Glentunnel, where we got uncertain directions from the shop."

"A quaint self contained and well positioned cottage that allows immersion into country life with steers over the fence and chooks running around - great for a bit of entertainment! Obviously a well loved home which was very clean and comfortable. Very quiet and comfortable sleep. "

"The unit we rented was very hard to locate and the lock box didnt work. The host included a map, but wasnt clear to us in the dark where to go. The roads are hard to locate and GSP doesnt take you to the unit. There were no food markets and the clubhouse was closed the whole time we stayed there. Which was the only place to get food. Since we couldnt get into our unit with the lock being broken, we had to change units. The host was helpfull- we had to call her many times. "

"FANTASTIC!! Close to Darfield for shop and wedding venue for coming and going (& coming n going!). Had lots of family over on the Sunday after wedding and had all the lovely outdoor space too. THANK YOU to the very attentive Reiderers"

"Had a great stay in Castle Hill at this bach. We traveled with a group of eight and we had plenty of living space and amenities for our group. Clean, modern house with good heating system and great indoor-outdoor flow. Close to all the community amenities in the village too. Highly recommended"

"Great place to stay only 1 hr out of Christchurch.We woke up to the best view of the mountains right out the bedroom window. Rakaia gorge is beautiful with jetboat walk or swim if you want to brave the cold. Nice relaxing stay for 2 days. I would definitely stay again"
