"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

"We loved our stay in Doolin! These lodges were a perfect home base for exploring this area. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren. Our lodge was so close to the Cliffs of Moher, we even went twice, because the cliffs are so beautiful, we couldn’t get enough. There are lots of pubs and places to eat nearby, and the lodge itself is equipped with everything for cooking. "Pat and Maura were wonderful. They were very good with timely and informational communication. The cottage was charming, clean, well stocked, and exactly what we were expecting. "Pictures don’t do this property justice. The house was immaculate, spotless clean. Sally was the ultimate host, exceeding our expectations! This was the closest you could get to the cliffs and everything in town was within walking distance. Check in and out was flawless and sally responded to any request immediately.
