"I would love to have given 5 stars as the staff was remarkable, the kickback and breakfast were good and the upgrade was nice. However, cleanliness for me is important. In the bathroom there was long black hair all over the shower curtain and tub. The bathmat was stained. It is hard to overlook these items so I couldn't give 5 stars. Kudos to Marcus at the front desk - very friendly and helpful. "

"I needed a quick place to lay my head at night while I visited friends, and this place definitely fit the bill. The staff was friendly and helpful (It was definitely interesting to walk in to see the front desk guy walking around with a parrot on his shoulder, lol). The room was clean and very spacious. I liked the separate sitting room from the bedroom. The carpet and some of the common areas looked a little old and in need of some renovation, but it wasn't terrible. My biggest complaint was...

"Check in took forever since people ahead of us were unaware the pool was closed for painting and they had non refundable rooms and seriously disappointed children. Someone tnrew up in the elevator last night and it wasn't cleaned up this am. Ice machine on the main floor wasn't working. Just seemed a bit unloved."
