"My traveling group consisted of my boyfriend and I and our dog (our baby). The house had everything we needed, even a good sized backyard. Location was close to Albertsons which was perfect. We loved the style, like a western, cabin like feel to it. We would stay here again. Thank you! "

"This was the perfect size. Everything went so smoothly. There was plenty of kitchen supplies and bedding. Very cozy and clean stay. The most important thing is staying cool while sleeping and there was absolutely no complaints there. "

"We stayed for a couple days on our road trip and wanted a place close to Carlsbad. This is a nice house that had plenty of space for everyone. We travel with a grandparent and children so it’s nice to find a bigger place when we can. The house is put together well and had everything that we needed. We also had fun with the pac man game. "

"The first sight when entering are toys and other items strewn about the walkway. Not an appealing first impression., The patio/deck in the listing isn't there and the grill is an old charcoal unit. The inside is very nice, clean and well furnished. Although the unit sleeps 4 there is only a kitchen table for 2. The kitchen is well equipped but it could use a cutting board and a cork screw. The toilet tissue provided was a partial roll and 1 full roll for 4 adults for 5 nights so we purchased...

"We loved our stay. The location and property was so great. We enjoyed the outdoor space a lot, we all agreed that our favorite was the patio. I really appreciated the additional touches. "

"First I have to start by saying our hosts were AMAZING. Cory and Bruce are the best hosts we have ever had. They made us feel like family. The property was spotless, and very well organized. They went above and beyond with everything in the house. They even had a pantry with items to purchase that you might have forgotten. Our trip started out rough, but everything about the hosts, and this house made the trip fantastic. They even made us muffins, and gave us fresh laid eggs. The place is easy...

"The host was very accommodating. We appreciated that she allowed us to use a different unit the first night when the power went out so we could finish preparing our dinner. However, we were a little disappointed in the actual unit we stayed in. The pictures indicated it was newer and in better shape. We had to remove the pneumatic door closure on back door due to noise. It wasn't as clean as we expected, and the fresh wax on the artificial wood floors was a slip hazard until we wiped much of it...

"We enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable. My son slept in the office. He liked the privacy but he said the middle of the bed sunk a few inches away from the wall so he didn’t sleep well. We didn’t know if it was a folding bed that might not have locked the whole way or not. Other than that, he liked it a lot. Didn’t take long to get to the caverns. Very enjoyable trip!"

"This is an older home that needs some serious updating before I would consider staying here again! The reviews were a few months ago and I thought that it would be improved. It's not! There are only two bedrooms that are comfortable to sleep in. Both have comfortable king beds, but sheets on one had to be changed before it was slept in. The floor was swept and the dust pile was left for us to clean up. The den holds a king bed, but the room was barely warm despite the heater running all night...

"Centrally located home, that made navigation in and around the area easy. Owner/host was overly accomodating going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. House that feels like a home, feels lived in but cozy. Would definitely stay again."
