"Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is...

"Awesome home! This property is clearly loved and taken care of. From the bamboo mattress covers to the high quality pool towels to the massive 3ft x 3ft oven- this property is stunning. "Amazing little cottage in the lake! Just as described in the listing. The host was very communicative and responded to questions quickly. The area was calm and peaceful just like we wanted, but any activities weren’t that far away to drive. The boat rental place was just down the road which was also convenient for fishing. Amazing sunset views and the hosts little attention to detail made for a relaxing, stress free stay. Would definitely book again! "

"Stayed with my family for the weekend for the State fair. The house was perfect. The location was a little sketchy but no issues. The only issue is with the upstairs tenants. You could hear the creeky floors late at night and in the early morning hours. Kept you up if your a light sleeper. "

"The house was beautiful, even tho we are a stones throw from the highway and major shopping you still feel off the beaten path. The host was amazing, anything we could have asked for was provided. 10/10 we would definitely stay again. The master bathroom is a little tight but even with that we all still made things work! "
