"Excellent place yo stay. Private, clean , large bathroom with capacity for wheelchair. Delicious breakfast buffet. Room had a tv which was great to relax in bed and watch a movie after a busy few days of sightseeing and hiking. Highly recommend! Thank you "

"Yummy homemade bread on the breakfast spread. The hot tubs were just perfect to soak in and see the northern lights. So cozy and quiet away from the city lights. Loved the helpful staff and very easy to find location. "

"Our stay at Godaland Guesthouse was a wonderful surprise. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, you’ve found the right spot. The rooms are very cozy, the bathroom is clean, and there are plenty of complimentary breakfast items. Just keep in mind that there’s no option to cook your own meals here."

"This was our first night in Iceland. We checked in late, however the front desk lady was super friendly and accommodating. We drove up to our cabin and it was a perfect start to our trip. Very rustic and quant. The three of us comfortably slept in a bed each. Would recommend! "

"Even though I’d had unfortunate bad weather and arrived late to the hotel, I enjoyed the safe place to finally relax after a long day of driving. Beautiful spot and very clean stay"

"We stayed in one of the cabins bc it could accommodate our family of five. It was very helpful to have a kitchen (made breakfast in the morning) and the set up of the cabin was convenient for our family. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too!"

"Stayed in room 102. The hotel is a beautiful log cabin design with a lot of neat touches such as the carved bears in the staircases. The room is a nice size with a mini fridge that is only big enough for a couple drinks. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. A large variety of sweets, cereal, fresh bread and even eggs and bacon. Had no issues getting the code or opening the lockbox that held the key. Recommended. Close to Skogafoss and the amazing hike to Kvernufoss."
