"We truly enjoyed our stay at HANARE by Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo Kyoto. Kyoto is a magical city and this hotel was a favorite on our trip to Japan. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bathrooms were the best of all the hotels we stayed and having a washer/dryer in room was a wonderful amenity. "This was a perfect place to experience Japan. It had traditional Japanese accomodations and food but also with many high tech conveniences. The staff was very helpful in getting us taxis to easily visit locations like the imperial palace or the Bamboo Forest. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a great experience in Kyoto. "

"LOVED staying at this MIMARU in Kyoto! Location was great (about an 8 minute walk to the subway and right next to a family mart and even a grocery store 5 minute walk away). Front desk was very helpful and courteous, room was spacious and clean. We were traveling as a family of four with two boys, ages 10 and 13, and we have already recommended this hotel to friends entertaining the idea of a Japan vacation!"

"Instructions unclear about accessing property. We took a cab from kyoto station to the property where we had no access to enter. Apparently you need to go to an office near kyoto station before you are allowed into the property. Once there the staff did coordinate travel to the property. The property location was nice with many restaurants and shops with a 15-20 minute walk. Property was very nice with clothes washer and a way to dry the clothes as well as Instructions for how everything worked...
