"This was the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a weekend away. It was spacious inside, with plenty of room for kids to play and everyone to sleep comfortably. We loved the remote location. The kids enjoyed running around outside and seeing the deer in the field in the evenings. We will definitely consider coming back for another weekend get away with our friends in the future! "

"Wonderful place for rest and beauty. Near a wild life refuge and located between water and prairie.
Mike was incredibly helpful and friendly and even hauled the kayaks for our personal use.
We will be back.
Bunkhouse is a studio. But adequate for two people. It is set up very comfortably and quaintly. And the views are wonderful.
Easy drive into town where there are restaurants and grocery stores."

"The house was very clean. Kitchen has items needed. Had a cabinet with games and coloring books. Bathrooms clean and appropriately stocked. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and clean bedding. Pet friendly, fenced back yard. Easy check in and out. Overall a very comfortable stay in a nice neighborhood and friendly environment. Host was respectful and responsive as needed."

"Rural country at its best, fit for animal lovers, fishing hobbyists, photographers and those who just need to getaway to de-stress, relax and enjoy nature's beauty. The Bunkhouse is small, cute cowboy & horse themed house with a great view of the lake, countryside and night sky! I loved the shower, kinda spa like! I love the covered clock roadway! It gave me BeetleGuise vibes! "
