"Our only concern, as seniors, was the steep stairs. We were in a downstairs room one night, with stairs down to the first floor. Then we moved to a second floor room, with even steeper stairs. Perhaps a dumb waiter to help with luggage? But the property is lovely, beautifully appointed rooms, excellent service, wonderful staff. Highly recommend!"

"The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The curtain to the terrace is not well placed and has zip ties holding and some wiring. The jet tub was not very clean and barely hot water. "Excellent drinks at tandem bar. Easy parking. It is near a busy part of downtown so due to outside noises it can get noisy with traffic but nothing crazy. We really enjoyed the coffee/tea bar in the lobby and the complementary waters in the Savannah heat."

"The location of this property is PERFECT. You’re right next to the riverfront and can walk anywhere else in town. If you do not feel like walking, there is a free trolley that runs throughout the city and the stop is just outside the door. The staff was amazing. The room are “historic” so not the most up to date, but the beds are SUPER comfy and the place has a historic charm I love. Also good water pressure and instant hot water is an added plus!
