  • Forget about an impersonal hotel room – my charming, shabby-chic apartment in the heart of the Medieval city of Sarlat offers you everything you might need whilst exploring all that the beautiful Perigord Noir has to offer.

    The historical quarter of Sarlat is a delight of lanes and passages passing between magnificent architecture and corners of history. My little apartment sits on the first floor of a characterful ‘immeuble‘, (originally a bakery with the bakers` accommodation above) in a tranquil courtyard set back from a pretty cobbled street, a focal point for local artists and artisans, and only a few steps from the central Town Hall square.

    Ideal for a couple, I have taken great care to create a peaceful retreat, where you can recharge your batteries during your stay in my simple, but stylish one bedroomed ‘pied-a-terre’. With quintessential French furnishings, there is a little bit of history in each of the two rooms.

    The apartment is peacefully set back from the street at the back of a courtyard. You enter into the salon where you will find a fully equipped kitchen to your far left, perfect for preparing breakfast. You will find a fridge-freezer, full fan oven and halogen hob, plenty of crockery and cooking utensils.

    The salon comprises a comfortable two seater settee and antique day bed where you can take in the pretty view of greenery or enjoy a relaxing evening watching a DVD from the selection available after a day of sight-seeing. There is also a comfortable separate dining table and chairs.

    Through to the bedroom you will find a welcoming standard king size bed (1.60m wide x 2m length). There is a spacious wardrobe, dresser and antique chest of drawers to properly unpack and make your stay more like being at home.

    The bathroom is in the adjacent room complete with bath, sink, vanity unit and separate WC.

    Finally, the little cherry on the cake is a small outdoor balcony adorned with a set of vintage iron table and chairs – ideal for taking your morning coffee outside.

    The apartment comes with WiFi and heating and a small gift pack of essentials to welcome you.

    For your laundry requirements, there is washing machine along with a clothes airer, an iron, ironing board and complimentary detergent.

    All linens and towels are provided for your personal use during your stay.

    Please not that cleaning is not included in the price and a 25 Euros fee will be charge separately for this upon booking.

Here you will find everything you need for a holiday apartment in the centre of the old medieval town of Sarlat. The apartment is spacious, well decorated and very clean. Lovely eclectic style furnishings and decor, we loved our stay here. It is centrally located so it is very convenient for strolls into the square where we had our breakfast every morning watching the town come to life. We were fortunate to meet Anni and her parents, who were just getting another apartment in the courtyard ready for letting. It too was beautifully furnished in the same French style. They were all very nice and made you feel very at home.

Bel appartement dans l'ancien, mais trop bruyant de la part des voisins du dessus.

Très bel appartement, très bien situé au coeur de Sarlat,avec parking facilement accessible. MAIS, Grosses nuisances sonores noctures et matinales des voisins du dessus, malgré les tentatives de discussions directes et via les propriétaires. Vraiment dommage...

This apartment is ideally situated a few minutes walking distance to the old centre of historical town of Sarlat! Free parking is available five minutes away , after you’ve unloaded your car right in front of the gate. Surrounded by restaurants, bistros, art and craft galleries, museums, wine stores, market and more, this location completely satisfies the visitor with infinite choices. Tastefully decorated to preserve the old fashioned French atmosphere of yesteryear, the apartment nevertheless displays every modern equipment and facility to enhance your stay, The owners welcomed us with warm generosity and an unforgettable touch of style, so that we can’t wait to return here for another, longer dream vacation.

Un appartement plein de charme, confortable, où tout est mis à disposition pour y être comme à la maison. Bonjour, Un tres tres bon séjour sur place. Avec un appartement parfait. Peut être que mettre un luminaire plus imposant au plafond dans le salon, et un autre système d’éclairage pour la cuisine permettrait d’avoir une aussi belle luminosité que ce que nous avons pu voir sur les photos de votre bien. Mais c’est vraiment rien. Nous avons passé un super séjour. Et encore merci pour tout. Lea et Florian.

Logement pour 2 personnes très cosy avec bonne literie et très achalandé sur les produits de première nécessité quand on vient pour 1 semaine tant au niveau cuisine ( sel, poivre, huile d'olive , thé, ..) qu'au niveau entretien (Sac poubelle, Produits d'entretien,..) Situé dans une rue semi piétonnière à 2 pas du centre de Sarlat et pourtant bien au calme (Peut être un peu moins le samedi matin jour du grand marché mais c'est normal). Parking non payant à 5 minutes à pied. Propriétaire charmante à disposition pour tous problèmes et qui propose un "book" bien renseigné . Donc à conseiller pour passer un séjour agréable

petite location au cœur du centre ville mais sans le bruit car située en cour intérieure. Toutes les commodités se trouvent dans l'appartement et les explications de la propriétaire (livret d acceuil) sont très appréciables. Nous recommendons vivement ce logement pour visiter sarlat et la Dordogne.

Appartement idéalement situé!

Location conforme en tous points aux photos et au descriptif. L'appartement, situé en plein coeur de Sarlat, est cosy, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, ce qui en fait un petit nid douillet. Anni, la propriétaire, est très charmante et prévenante, répondant de façon réactive à la moindre interrogation en amont du séjour. Nous avons été très touchés par ses délicates attentions (eau fraîche, fromage, vin de pays...) et avons beaucoup apprécié la proposition de renouveler les serviettes de toilette en cours de séjour. Il y a sur place un classeur qui regorge d'informations et d'adresses utiles quant à la découverte de la ville et du secteur avec proposition de le recevoir en version numérique pour préparer le séjour. Nous étions un peu inquiets quant aux possibilités de stationnement de notre véhicule mais en fait , comme indiqué par Anni, il y a un parking gratuit à 5 minutes à pied où nous avons systématiquement trouvé une place (en pleine saison!). Nous recommanderions cette location sans hésitation. Un seul petit bémol s'il fallait en trouver un: il faut bien aérer l'appartement car il peut vite sentir le renfermé mais c'est souvent l'inconvénient des bâtiments de caractère, en pierres. Et petite suggestion: éventuellement, un micro-onde serait un plus appréciable. En résumé: location très agréable pour un court séjour!

A wonderful boutique apartment in the heart of Sarlat

I stayed here in April 2018 and could not have asked for a better place. You are right in the centre of the old town and yet the apartment is quiet and a real ‘Home away from home’. Everything you need is provided and the bed is so very comfortable. The market, shops and restaurants are on your doorstep. Highly recommend.
