This house in the heart of the medieval town of SARLAT, 20 minutes from Lascaux 4 and at the crossroads of all the most visited sites of Dordogne is ideally located on more than 1600 square meters of garden overlooking the roofs of the medieval city and close to the historic center, this farmhouse completely restored and tastefully decorated enjoys all the necessary comfort.

Composed on the ground floor of a large living room of 60 square meters and a fully equipped kitchen, you will have upstairs two large bedrooms and a bathroom and a shower room.

Deposit of 350 euros to be delivered directly on the spot at the arrival at the handing of the keys.

Logement très joli et très bien équipé. Très bien situé avec le centre-ville facile d'accès à pied. Place de parking attribuée en haut de l'allée. La maison est à l'écart ce qui est agréable niveau intimidé et tranquillité. Sophie a pu répondre à nos questions avec réactivité. Sarlat est une ville magnifique. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette magnifique longère, située dans un endroit calme et paisible. Le logement est d'une propreté irréprochable, très bien équipé, et idéalement situé à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la cité médiévale. Nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous dès notre arrivée.Un grand merci à Sophie, une hôte d’une grande gentillesse, bienveillante et très réactive.Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés, que ce soit pour un court ou un long séjour. C’est un point de départ parfait pour découvrir cette superbe région.

Uns hat das Haus und die die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Die große Küche bietet alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Terrasse ist geschützt und erfrischend. Die Dachfenster bieten Luft und Durchzug in warmen Nächten. Zu Fuß sind es 3 Minuten in die Altstadt von Sarlat. Alles für den täglichen Bedarf kann ohne Auto erreicht werden. Die Besitzerin ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es war für uns eine rundum erholsam Woche bei Sophie. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wonderful stay at this very sweet home away from home in close proximity to the medieval town of Sarlat. Peaceful outdoor space at front of house for relaxing and eating. Very well appointed house with everything anyone would need. Sophie was lovely host, available, responsive and helpful when we contacted her with an issue. Very prompt to remedy a concern which was greatly appreciated. We had a lovely time.

A week in Sarlat

Very well located property a short walk from the centre of Sarlat. Very well equipped for self catering, very friendly owner.2 tiny suggestions:A clear sign at the top of the drive would make initially finding the wonderfully tucked away property easier.Clearer instructions on where to find the public bins.Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we would not hesitate to return.

Rustic Elegance

This gorgeous cottage is Peaceful,bucolic,and close to everything including just steps from the beautifully preserved village of SarlatSophie has exceptional taste in decor and provided everything you could possibly need, including washer and dryer, plenty of towels, dinnerware,table linens and even spices.We spent much of our time on the beautiful patio, and also visited local prehistoric cave art, took a cruise on the Dordogne River, and rode bicycles on a scenic paved trail in Sarlat. Sophie is the “hostess with the mostest”We would return in a heartbeat!!

Fabulous

This is clearly a 5-star property both in a lovely removed, private setting yet mere steps from the old town. The cottage is lovingly crafted and very up to date. I was sorry not to have a "welcome notebook" with a history of the property as that would have been entirely fascinating. And although we figured everything out, a "user's guide" attached to that notebook would have been helpful. It is a spectacular property and was a joy to experience.

Excellent stay in Sarlat

A short walk down the hill to middle of town made it easy to visit restaurants,shops and a grocery store. The house was roomy and quite comfortable. The one shower was in the washroom on the first floor away from the bedrooms but we worked around that easily. The one suggestion would be that a booklet outlining the use of the home eg where to put the garbage, how to operate TV, favorite restaurants etc. would be helpful. But Sophie answered all our question promptly. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful house 5 minutes from town

We had a wonderful 10 days in this beautiful home. The house was very spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The walking path from the front door took us into Sarlat in just 5 minutes. Sophie was very responsive to any questions we had and provided us with some suggestions for restaurants in town. We would highly recommend this house.

Das Küche ist top eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer haben ein besonders schönes Ambiente durch die Holzkonstruktion des Dachstuhls. Sarlat ist zu Fuß leicht erreichbar, um Croissants zum Frühstück zu holen.

Super Umgebung

Wir verbrachten zwei Wochen in dem Haus von Sophie. Das Auffinden des Hauses war zunächst ein wenig schwierig. Ein Anruf bei Sophie und sie war sofort zur Stelle. Das Haus liegt in perfekter Nähe zum Ort. Trotz der direkten Nähe zum Ort und einem Fußweg direkt vor dem Haus, war es sehr ruhig. In Sarlat-La Canéda kann man bummeln, essen und den Markt besuchen. Die Umgebung bietet zahlreiche Ausflugsziele. Sophie hatte uns noch eine Reihe an Tipps für Restaurantbesuche gegeben. Das Haus ist prima ausgestattet und es gab nichts, was gefehlt hätte. Aufgrund extremer Hitze haben wir die Terrassen nur selten genutzt. Wir hatten zwei rundum schöne Wochen in der Dordogne und würden jederzeit wiederkommen,

Lovely home steps from Sarlat center

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in this spacious, well appointed home. It is a very short walk into town where there were numerous restaurants and markets. The two market days were perfect for providing us with good fresh foods and wines. The surrounding area is filled with small medieval villages to explore that are a short drive away. Sarlat is charming, well maintained and a perfect base to explore The Dordogne region. Sophie is a responsive host and has offered a charming home. This was our third trip to the french countryside and Sophie's cottage was by far our favorite rental. The outdoor terrace was ideal for watching the hot air balloons float by with a glass of french wine in hand.
