"This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! "The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The brand new room was lovely. My only complaint is that although the bedroom and separate living area has good room darkening draperies, the bathroom had a sheer window covering. We could see people walking one the street below through them, so we knew they could also see us with the light on, so we couldn't dress or shower in there during hours with din lighting."

"This hotel has a super cool vibe with an homage to Josephine Baker. The location is the best! Right across the street starts the old section of the city that everyone is there for. The breakfast in the hotel is great. There were also some nice cafes and dining right across the street and Nextdoor. Parking in the street was affordable, and easier than it looked. "

"The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!"

"Tout y est! Accueil chaleureux, environnement calme, chambre spacieuse et confortable et petit déjeuner maison bien garni. J'ai passé une nuitée avec mes filles de 3 et 5 ans et nous avions chacune notre lit dans la même chambre. Flore et Pierre sont charmants et attentionnés. Nous savons où revenir si nous repassons dans le coin!"

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....
