Relaxing family friendly vacation home in Sapphire, NC! Home is located in the exclusive Burlingame Country Club community. Offers 4-bedrooms, 3 & 1/2 baths on private 1.7 acres on quiet street. This custom-built home includes 2 family room areas with 2 indoor and 1 outdoor fireplace (firewood is on us!). Kitchen includes all the items needed to cook your favorite recipes. Outdoor space includes a large pavilion with stone fireplace, Wireless TV to catch the game, gas grill, large Kamado smoker, G scale garden railway, outdoor table for dinning and relaxing covered deck. All roads leading to home and driveway are paved. There are 2 dogs maximum per stay. A neighborhood park adjacent to Horsepasture River along with a fenced dog park is within walking distance from the home. Only minutes to hiking trails, waterfalls, Sapphire Valley, Whiteside Mountain, Gorges State Park, Cashiers, Highlands, Lake Toxaway, Brevard and Lake Glenville. Quick reliable internet in the neighborhood. Pets limited to Dogs only (50 lbs & under) and Dogs are welcome but please include them in the reservation.

Amazing place - we may bring our kids back this summer if it's available. The house is better than the pictures. Clearly these people care about the place. Their attention to detail was obvious and appreciated. Our dog dropped her ball and it rolled under the a shelf in the kitchen and there was no dust or dirt on the ball when I fished it out. They had everything you would need. We travel 10 times a year - mostly in VRBOs - and this place is top 5 for us.

This was our second time to rent this home. We loved it again. The home was clean and well equipped with everything you would need in the kitchen. We spent most of our time at the outside fireplace or at the new play area with our granddaughters. We hope to return again soon.

First off we booked two weeks and could have stayed longer. Beautiful home with all the amenities you could want. Fabulous covered area out back with fireplace, tv and multiple light options. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Location is very quiet and only a short drive to Cashiers. While we were there we saw a fox, rabbits, deer grazing in the back yard and even a couple of small bears rambling around in the middle of the night. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful home away from home

This is one of the nicest homes that we have rented thru VRBO. Everything was perfect. Very comfortable with a cook’s kitchen that had most everything you might need. We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication with owner. We hope to visit again sometime soon.

Family trip for a friend’s wedding

We really enjoyed our stay and the owner’s hospitality for our recent trip up to Sapphire for a wedding. House was very comfortable and easily accommodated our group— the house was stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Holiday weekend with family!

We had such a wonderful holiday weekend in North Carolina. We booked just a few weeks prior and the whole process went smoothly. Jason, the owner responded VERY quickly to all questions. It was very easy to find the house in the beautiful neighborhood. We arrived around 4pm and got into the house through the keypad very easily. When we walked into the house the temperature was perfect and we noticed it was extremely clean. The house is large enough to accommodate large groups. The bedrooms are also spaced out perfectly to have each guest in their own private area. The house is gorgeously decorated, it definitely felt like we were home. The house had everything that you would need. The kitchen is beautiful and stocked with every pot, pan, plate, and accessory that you would need to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our favorite part of the home is the backyard. It is beautifully decorated and has enough seating for everyone to enjoy. There is a gorgeous fireplace outside that was stocked with plenty of fire starters and firewood. We never ran out! We also took advantage of the outdoor propane heater (it was very cold) and the propane grill. We enjoyed going to the Outhouse races that were going on at the Sapphire Ski resort. We also enjoyed many great meals at SlopeSide Tavern...highly recommend the restaurant! We will definitely book this home again when we come back to visit. There wasn't one thing to complain about.

Gorgeous Cozy Home

We absolutely loved this spacious clean home. The fireplace and outdoor seating made for fun enjoyable evenings. Perfect location to enjoy skiing in Sapphire and the shops, dining & excursions in Cashiers and Highlands.

Annual fall trip

Excellent home. Home has an open floor plan with several gathering areas and was very clean and well equipped.The kitchen has everything you could need and all of the beds were very comfortable.An outdoor fireplace and seating area made for two incredible evenings outside and the grill was clean and looked very new. The owners had an arrival gift for us which was a very nice touch. All of the starter and firewood you could possibly use was available.This is our sixth trip to the area and our favorite home by far. We will be back.
