Palace Gem is a thoughtfully and tastefully remodeled 1920’s bungalow in the heart of Santa Fe’s Historic Eastside. An easy walk to Canyon Road and the Plaza. Comfortably sleeps 6 people on two King beds and two twin beds.

The home opens to the light filled open-concept living/dining/kitchen with hardwood floors throughout. The living room is designed for comfortable entertaining or relaxing, and the dining room features access to an outdoor deck which allows for extended outdoor living and entertaining. The immaculate chef’s kitchen is tastefully appointed with high-end finishes and top-of-the-line Jenn-Air appliances. The master suite features a walk-in closet, private outdoor deck access, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom complete with dual sinks, a large soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. The King bed guest bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and the same level of tasteful finishes found throughout the house. There is also a second guest bedroom that has two twin beds. A sweet reading area with built-in bookshelves is located at the entry to the third outdoor deck space. The home has air-conditioning throughout.

The outdoor spaces are landscaped with fruit trees and honeysuckles. There is off-street parking for three cars. The level of taste and detail in this full renovation was enough to earn the 2016 Heritage Preservation Award.

The home is located conveniently to the Plaza in the center of Santa Fe as well as to all the art galleries on Canyon Road. This is an exquisite home for your vacation in Santa Fe.

It's beautifully spacious. Great kitchen for cooking and entertaining. The bedrooms are very private. It has a fun layout to play hide-and-seek. It's very pretty. The property manager was very helpful when we had a special request. Linens and beds are luxurious. Great location. We loved everything about it.

Fun family reunion

Location is excellent, walking distance to the Plaza. The house is very spacious and private, with lots of outside sitting areas when the hot temperatures cool off. AC was not functioning at all the first 2 days, so it was very uncomfortable until the manager could get a service repair person onsite to correct the problem. Hopefully the manger can check prior to guests arrival during the summer season to make sure the AC is functioning properly.

Comfortable and Convenient

Five of us (three generations) enjoyed the short walks to the Plaza and Canyon Road and slightly longer walk to Museum Hill. The house itself is charming, with excellent kitchen equipment, gas bbq grill, decks, and laundry room. Our house contact, Richard, responded quickly when informed that our hair dryer wasn’t working - we had replacements the next day! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Santa Fe.

Great for family

This is a great house for a family to stay. Lots of space. Great living area and kitchen. All around very clean. The neighborhood was calm and quiet. It was also very safe. People were out and about walking at all points in the day, even after dark. It was easy to get to Ski Santa Fe and back along with all the other interesting points in town. I would definitely stay there again.

Such a gorgeous property

It looks exactly like the pictures online. It is a beautiful home, incredibly clean and has absolutely everything you would possibly need for your stay in Santa Fe. It has every single appliance you would possibly need. Super private little backyard with cozy chair cushions- just a wonderful wonderful property I would stay again in a heartbeat

Great girlfriend getaway!

Palace Gem is the best VRBO rental any of us had ever stayed in. It was just as advertised on the website. The location was outstanding, the house was as pictured with a gourmet kitchen, the beds were all comfy & the bathrooms were nicely modernized. The house was immaculate. We didn't use the patios because we were busy exploring as much as we could in a 4-day stay. We highly recommend this rental if you're staying in Santa Fe.
