"The Hotel Santa Barbara is situated perfectly. It’s a block from the Surfliner stop, has dozens of good restaurants within walking distance and Stearns Pier less than a mile away. The gym is limited, but decent for a hotel this size. Valet parking for $30 a night is a good deal. No pool, though. ..."

Beachside Inn
"If you are put into Room 102, ask for different one and check the mattress there too! The mattress was the worst I have encountered in my life. Lumpy, uneven, saggy. I tried to lay crosswise at the end of the bed with my legs hanging over, but I got very little sleep."
