"Hotel is ok for an overnight stay. The bedroom while clean smelt like an old folks home and the furniture is old and cheap looking. We were woken early by a loud member of the cleaning staff outside our room and then a leaf blower started up in the gardens.
The breakfast was good but hearing the staff moving tables about because of a funeral party arriving soon was a bit off putting."

"It was a lovely hotel with very friendly staff . Very dog friendly which was fab and the staff made us feel very relaxed with our dog . Our room and bathroom were large and the bed was very comfortable .The room and bathroom were very clean my only minor issue was there was some black around the shower which looked off putting ."

I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. The charge was returned but why was it there to start with & nothing to alert you to what I was later told was a discretionary payment! The receptionist on each visit was fantastic. The restaurant...

"The staff are very friendly. Rooms are quiet except for the occasional door slamming shut. There is no restaurant at the hotel but you can use their microwave and fridge in staff kitchen. We went to the nearby M&S store to buy microwavable food and drinks.
The hotel is not located near transit and it's best to have a car. Parking is free and it's easy drive to visit Stirling and Falkirk sights."
