"We arrived at the hotel and checked into Room 22, which was a beautiful room. Unfortunately, it had not been cleaned properly, as there were dog treats on the floor and dog hair throughout the room. I have dog allergies and did not have my inhaler with me, so this was quite concerning.
Thankfully, the lady at reception was very helpful and quickly moved us to Room 104, which is absolutely lovely, and we really appreciated how professionally she handled the situation.

"It’s an older hotel, the other side of the bridge from Edinburgh so cheaper by miles. It’s decent with plenty of parking. Bar is open 24 hours in the foyer. Breakfast was decent hot and cold buffet style. Would stay again."

"This hotel has potential but misses the mark. Rooms are tired and in need of some updating. Bathroom was dirty when we arrived and paint was peeling around all the windowsills. Room smelled stale and a little bit like cigarettes.
The staff were excellent. Very friendly and attentive and came to my room immediately to clean the bathroom when I mentioned it was dirty. Every staff member from front desk to the restaurant were very helpful and lovely to converse with.

Room was changed but still not enough amenities in the room.
Paid for breakfast & it finishes at 9am where staff were unfriend when we just arrived before 9am. then the staff rushed off for breakfast.

"Wir waren 6 Tage im Murrayfield Hotel zu Gast und haben uns vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Das Personal im Hotel, als auch im zugehörigen Pub, ist absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war immer sehr sauber und wir haben uns jeden Tag über neues Wasser gefreut. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Personal bemüht, auch bei großen Ansturm, alles schnell wieder aufzufüllen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet.
