"I found this property when we had to move out earlier than planed for renovation works to our house. On arrival we were all stunned at the beauty on the gardens , the wild life, the fact we appear to be the only guests. Staff were amazing as i had 1 night were we had no where to staff, and staff were able to accommodate us. If you are looking for peace tranquillity i would highly recommend this place. "Poorly maintained, master bedroom door handle was on top of the cupboard and the shower hose leaks. Not enough electrical sockets to provide power to laptop and lights. Furniture was a bit uncomfortable. Bed was very squeaky. Overall adequate for its purposes and met expectations. Wifi details provided were incorrect, but its on the hub so managed. TV was only usable with youtube as its the only service available that didn't require signing in. No live digital channels available. ...

"Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside.
