Great location for exploring the area, very cofortable, clean, and spacious accomodation. Quite and restful, great beds and generous perfectly cooked breakfast. The Lady of the house was delightful, accomodating and went to any extent to make my stay wonderful. If I'd visit the area again hopefully I'll stay longer!

The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating—truly went above and beyond! They helped us with local sites and even planned multiple day trips for us. The room was fantastic, and the breakfast was absolutely to die for. We’d definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone!

Fantastic B&B, lovely large room with everything you need, all super clean and fresh. Breakfast choice was great and served in a lovely room. Host friendly and welcoming, highly recommend, 5 stars from me. Will be back.

Uma runs an excellent establishment! The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and Uma served a delicious breakfast. Will definitely stay there again!

A delightful location!...takes all your travel fears away. Spacious, crisp, clean, comfy rooms with a magnificent view as far as the eyes can see.The host and hostess sre sooooo pleasant and helpful. She makes a mean breakfast too! Yum yum!

We stayed at Ardwell BnB as we were attending a friends wedding at Dumfries House. Morton and Una were very friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. They even gave us a lift to the wedding venue! The breakfast they put on was also fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely big room, with ensuite. Plenty of storage space. Lovely breakfast room next to room. Rooms upstairs with own entrance. Owner Una very helpful in carrying my bags up and down the stairs. Easy walk into village. Near to Dumfries House.

We loved everything about this property - the hosts are lovely, and gave us tips for places to visit, were prepared to be flexible about when we had breakfast (we chose 9.00am). The whole place was very clean, and they had thought about everything a guest might need. Breakfast was lovely, and choices were varied. They could charge more, it's great value for money. The best B&B we've stayed in - highly recommended

Excellent hospitality at the service including making me an evening meal, much appreciated as I’d been walking all day. Room was also excellent as was the brekkie in the morn… all for an extremely reasonable price. Wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation 👌

Una nad Morton are terrific hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. Tea and cakes on arrival were great and cooked breakfast was spot on. The place is nice and comfortable, would definitely stay again!

Lovely welcome from owner, especially when I was soaked from cycling there. A fresh pot of coffee and some cakes was swiftly provided! Big room, comfy bed, all immaculately presented. Hearty breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.
