Whilst the room was relatively clean, there were dead insects stuck on the ceiling, and within the blinds, there were also small scratches and damage to almost every wall in sight, especially on the walkway to the room. It definitely needs some renovations, as I recall this was the issue last time.
Outside of the room, the resort was quite nice, but we faced several issues.
After checking in, we drove to our room, and the keycards didn't work. I then called the reception with no response, ending up having to drive back. Whilst the lady apologised after rescanning the cards, she mentioned to call next time, which I, of course, said I did. It seems she was busy with another customer.
Next was the pool/spa. The spa was freezing cold. I spoke to the reception, who got a guy to check it, and he mentioned it had issues 2 days ago and that they'd call in a maintenance team to fix it. I later found out that was a complete lie and that someone who operated it was on leave, and it appeared no one else knew how.
Finally, my other complaint was the jumping pillows. My son loved them and we were their daily - , they are meant to be inflated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. We stayed two nights, and both mornings we had to call to get them inflated. The first morning was at ~9.30 a.m. and the second at 8:30 a.m. Not sure what's happening.
The only true positive was the buffet breakfast - the staff was polite and helpful and the food was quite nice.
