Lovely villa slightly underwhelming
To start I explained we would arrive early due to flight issues, and was told we would be notified if the villa was ready early, this was not the case we sat at a local bar waiting for a call for over three hours that never arrived, when the taxi did drop us off at the villa it looked ready?
Upon arrival, I do think small things makes a massive impression, maybe a few tea bags or jar of coffee/small bottle of milk? more than 3 rolls of toilet paper for a family of 5/dishwasher tablets? instead a warm bottle of wine and tin of olives… the house didn’t look as though it had been properly cleaned/mopped, still hairs on the floors etc.
both parasols tatty/broken so no shade new one did turn up but the day before we left for home, owner suggested we walked to the local shop and buy our own and get a refund. Mid holiday a gardener turned up and was there a couple of hours, surely this should be done before guests arrive? BBQ out of gas and wasn’t cleaned, blocked burner. Tiles missing in the pool, sharp under the foot.
I think the photos should be updated to show the current state, maybe a little TLC for the villa. Then on the last night the jacuzzi broke, communication to see if this was resolved or help was quite poor. Overall an OK holiday but sadly I wouldn’t recommend.
