This bright, quiet cottage is situated on 6 wooded acres only minutes from Ganges, Salt Spring Island, BC. It is the perfect romantic get away for people who need a break from the fast pace of the city. It's only minutes from the famous Ganges Saturday market. A quick ride up to Mount Maxwell brings you to the best views on the Southern Gulf Islands. Like yoga? Well, we are a quick walk down a country road to the Salt Spring Island Yoga Centre.

The owners are a certified Acupuncturist and a Massage Therapist that also does Rolfing.
Come down to our studio just down the driveway!

Paradise doesn't get much better than this.

This little was cozy and tucked in the woods. Very private and a lovely rustic touch. We enjoyed our stay. It was in great proximity to Ganges and surrounding towns. Would recommend for sure.

Comfortable, nice interiors and well maintained, with good amenities. The hosts were friendly, and helpful. The cabin was in a quiet, private forest setting and we were able to have a peaceful getaway experience. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was nice and cozy for a winter visit and had everything we could have needed or wanted (except a microwave, but not a big deal.) We would definitely stay here again!

Happy nest was a small cozy cabin, we enjoyed that it was secluded and our own little space. Close enough to town you could walk, but a taxi (or rental) is useful to get back up as its a bit of a hike but well worth it. The host had checked in on us to see if we needed anything which we appreciated. Definitely recommend if youre looking for a more cozy type hideaway to relax and enjoy a view and not extra fancy. One recommendation is just more blankets and pillow options available for sleeping.

The nest is a cozy delight. Just a couple of minutes to the center of Ganges and its beautiful harbour . We were lucky enough to have sunny days and the cabin caught the mid and late afternoon sun. Great spot to relax in.

Cabin was well equipped, with a funky Saltspring feel. The windows on all sides truly gave the feeling of being immersed in the forest. Lots of light even on the rainy days that we visited. We didn't meet hosts, but everything that we needed was there and check-in was simple.

What an amazing cabin! Loved every minute. Wild blackberries growing right outside the door, super comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, a bbq and the longest bathtub in the history of the world. Our hosts were excellent and offered many ideas of great places to visit. Can’t wait to come back!

A great little spot

This is a great place to go for a couple days. Kitchen is a little small, but everything is generally as advertised. The hosts were excellent communicators, and responded quickly when needed. Definitely would reccommend to anyone visiting Salt Spring, especially for a short or intermediate amount of time.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed in my stay here. I read all the reviews before booking. When we arrived the place looked nothing like the pictures…. It was run down, there were cobwebs, broken screens and broken glass in the windows. Paint is cracking and peeling everywhere, and things are clearly really old. It felt dirty, despite the cleaning fee you are charged.. I get that it’s a “cabin in the woods”, but this was nothing like we expected.

Peaceful, light-filled

Unique, restful, well-designed cabin in the trees. One of our favorite VRBO places! Loved the bright winter light while we were there. Great bed! We felt away from it all, yet Ganges was only 7 minutes away. Also highly recommend host Kathe’s therapy session/acupuncture just down the driveway.
