"Our stay was short but so fantastic. We came in way late and the hosts were so accommodating. Its super tiny but so cozy, sheets were soft and bed was comfy. All was clean and its a beautiful setting. Their dog was so sweet and well behaved also. Loved the stay and wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We had a wonderful stay this year with the trees turning yellow outside the windows and very little rain. Check in was easy. The whole house is fabulous and the kitchen well stocked. It was great having the town of Soldotna and the Kenai and Kasiloff Rivers so close. This was the second time we have stayed here, and we will stay here again when we visit the Kenai Peninsula. "

"A cozy cabin with all the essentials but running water AKA Dry. Comfortable queen bed, pull out couch and a loft with couple of coats which we did not need or used. Small fridge and microwave. Chuck had a freezer in the cabin and allowed us to store our salmon during the stay. Chuck and Dorothy were gracious in setting up a propane cook top outside and also provided a pot, pan, dishes and cutlery which were perfect for the two of us making breakfast and dinner. "Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!"
