"Amazing breakfast, lovely people, everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay again."

"A beautiful property. You can see they've really maintained the elegance of the house. There were just a few small things like the ceiling was a bit cracked, the faucet cap was missing, and the toilet needed to be pumped in order to flush. But the staff were great and the food was very good so all in all, I would recommend it as a place to stay."

"This is a gem in the cute little village in Alford. The staff, rooms, bar and restaurant were all great. Highly recommend this hotel."

"A nice hotel that just needs a spruce up. Basic room that had ‘old lady perfume smell’ but clean. Friendly staff. Limited bar. Small but adequate breakfast buffet. Looks more like a retirement home than a hotel."

"Personal muy amable y alojamiento acogedor."

"Very helpful staff. Beautifully maintained property. Very comfortable bed. Delicious restaurant downstairs. Convenient location. Easy onsite parking. Would definitely stay here again."

"Missing one star as there was no a/c, only heating. With the sun the room got really hot. "

"Clean and comfortable room and great shower. We enjoyed our stay at this property"

"Está bien para una noche de paso sin demasiados lujos. El baño es bastante incómodo y la moqueta no ha visto un limpiado en años. Cama cómoda y parking incluido en el precio. Luces y sombras."

"Excellent overall. One minor suggestion is to have a bin in the bathroom to be able to dispose of sanitary products."

"Great staff and great place"

"Stayed at this hotel"

"Hotel did not do breakast - thought I had booked bed and breakfast. Turned on the evening to be told they don't do evening meals, member of staff pointed to a microwave and toaster and referenced a shop that was closed to buy stuff. Next evening, a saturday, they were serving evening meals was told they did server evening meals. Whether they only seve meals at the weekend or short staffed I don't know."
