"We had a lovely stay for two nights. Was lovely, quiet and staff were excellent. We arrived to a lovely dessert selection in our room which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend if older, heritage properties are your preference (like ours)!"

"This is a great hotel / pub in a very good location and ideal for touring Aberdeenshire. Only about 20 mins from Aberdeen airport. The rooms are absolutely excellent and very spacious The bar and restaurant area is very welcoming and for those who enjoy whiskey there is an extensive range. The host Stuart is wonderful, very engaging and takes time to ensure all guests / customers are satisfied and enjoying themselves."

"The staff were super friendly and helpful. My son needed a pass printed off for a swimming gala he was attending - the staff printed it off for him within minutes. Thank you. This is our favourite hotel to stay at when we visit Aberdeen. The rooms are so well designed - I particularly like the sink and dressing area being part of the main room with only the toilet and shower behind the bathroom door. "Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very comfortable and clean and had an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. A great hot breakfast, which was buffet style. Arriving back very late from a wedding reception, snacks were available near the front desk. The location of this hotel is excellent for onward journeys and there is good parking. I would stay here again. Happy to recommend a stay here."

"Reception welcome was great. Evening meal was absolutely delicious (seared monk fish medallions and garlic butter). Room was clean a organised, hot drink facility, full range of clean needing and towels. Easy check out and free parking. Staff were efficient and welcoming. One smallish moan, the shower temperature was intermittent, cool then hot then cool again continually. Took a bit of adjusting to get an acceptable hot AND cool. Great location for business reasons. I will book again."
